Blogging has helped me in many ways throughout this class. Dealing with a lot of intense topics, blogging has helped me express my feelings towards this class and issues while also getting feedback on how others feel. Personally, blogging isn’t something I’m used to doing or expected to be doing but I found myself getting into it particularly with the Steubenville rape case just because I read so many articles about the event. I thought that it was interesting because it dealt with underage drinking of kids our age as well as rape and boys of two different race and the punishment they face. In this course we discussed a lot of very popular topics, some more sensitive than others but I think being able to discuss and hearing the varying opinions was beneficial. I wish more classes used blogging because sometimes people are scared to voice their opinion in front of everyone because of the fear of what other people will think.
